New in Roseville: New Bohemia Wurst + BierHaus

Food, Happy Hour, MN, Restaurants, Roseville, Twin Cities

We love when new restaurants open in Roseville! The number one reason why we love it is because we get to go out for lunch and scarf down some delicious food. We also love sharing our experience with you and telling you that you need to get there ASAP.

New Bohemia Wurst + BierHaus opened in Roseville at the end of May 2016. From the name, you can probably guess that it’s a sausage and beer restaurant. What you can’t tell from the name is that their sausage menu includes a whopping 19 different flavors ranging from classic to premium to adventurous and 36 different beers on tap (WHAT!?).

All of their sausages come with two free toppings — choose from the 8 toppings like spicy kraut or apple jicama slaw or beer butter onions, just to name a few. You can even get your sausage Philly style (peppers & onions with cheese sauce) or hangover style (fried egg with hot peppers). So many delicious options!

As we waited for our lunch to arrive we drank our root beers and checked out the restaurant. They have long communal tables and a patio for beautiful Minnesota days.

Our food came out quickly and we were ready to dive in! But first we scoped out the sauces that were on our table to make sure we weren’t missing anything. We loved the Mango Curry Ketchup on our fries.

Finally we took our first bites and we were in love! We went with a combo meal (sausage, fries & root beer or New Bohemia lager) of a premium Chicken & Apple sausage (topped with mushroom saute and caramelized onions), fries (you get to choose a free dipping sauce! It just kept getting better) with pepperjack cheese sauce, and a root beer.

We also ordered a combo meal of an adventurous smoked duck with cilantro sausage (topped with fried onions and apple jicama slaw on the side), fries with bacon blue cheese sauce, and a root beer.

If you’re wondering if we left satisfied… the answer is yes! It was a fantastic lunch and we will be back because we have 17 more sausages to try and a long list of beers to sip. Also, they have a giant pretzel appetizer that we need to get our hands on!

Maybe you’re not a sausage lover… that’s OK because they have hand crafted burgers on the menu that will hit the spot.

We hope you make it out to New Bohemia soon!
